About this place
Salted tongue is one of the dishes diners mention as a highlight at Riibekku. One guest appreciated the way the green onion was served with the thinly sliced tongue; another singled out the garlic version. Both salted tongue and salted tongue with garlic are listed at 980 yen, so you can choose between the classic seasoning and the added flavour of garlic.
Skirt steak also gets plenty of mentions. One diner who ordered a three-cut platter recalls that it was their favourite of the three, while another chose it alongside tongue and cheek meat. A guest also praised the pot-marinated sauce. For a dinner featuring several cuts, rice and kimchi make easy accompaniments, with each meat bringing a different flavour to the table.
The side dishes offer their own small pleasures between bites of meat. One guest enjoyed the namul, noting the seasoned aubergine as well as bean sprouts, spinach and daikon—even though the aubergine was not on the menu. A namul assortment costs 660 yen; bean sprout, spinach and daikon namul are 330 yen each. Choose individual portions for a few sides or the assortment to sample several.
Rice dishes include stone-grilled bibimbap (1,050 yen), bibimbap (830 yen) and gukbap (850 yen). One diner who had the stone-grilled bibimbap with meat also remembered the seasoned aubergine, a reminder that it is worth looking beyond the meat. Chinese cabbage kimchi is 330 yen and the kimchi assortment is 660 yen; one guest particularly enjoyed the lightly pickled kimchi.
This yakiniku restaurant is in Inouchi Shimoshinden, Nagaokakyo City, and accepts dinner reservations. The listing notes free parking, and one diner reported checking with the restaurant about where to park.
